CIWM's Professional Awards recognise and reward professional development and attainment across a fast moving industry.

Then you need to enter the prestigious Chartered Institution of Wastes Management Professional Awards!

This year the prestigious CIWM Professional Awards 2008 were held at the National Space Centre in Leicester and were kindly sponsored by Hyder Consulting, Envirocomms and Plastic Omnium.  The Ben Heath and Roger Perry Awards were sponsored by Geotech.  Details and photograhs of this years winners are available here.

At this years Awards CIWM was pleased to announce a new award.  The Geotech Award for a research paper titled:

'Renewable Energy, Landfill Gas and EfW - Now, Next and Future'

Further details of this award can be found under the AWARDS section.  The closing date for applications is the 2nd March 2009.  This allows the winning applicant to complete the paper and present a summary at the CIWM Professional Awards in October 2009.
