The CIWM Cymru Wales Centre comprises over 430 waste professionals representing all waste management activities across the country. CIWM Welsh members work in local and national governments, the Environment Agency Wales, private waste companies, consultancies, social enterprises as well as education and research centres.
The Welsh Centre is run by members on a voluntary basis who organise an extensive programme of technical meetings, site visits, symposia and social events. It provides a forum for professional debate and the opportunity for members to meet and socialise through a strong network of professionals. Welsh Members automatically become a member of the Welsh Centre when they join the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management.
