Hall of Fame - J C Dawes Award

The JC Dawes Bursary offers £2000 to finance travel and subsistence on a research or study programme into wastes management or related subjects. The award is open to Chartered Waste Managers (MCIWM and FCIWM) for a study programme in a country other than that in which they normally reside.

2004 - Martin Petersen - Feasibility study to assess the potential economic, environmental and social benefits from the implementation and subsequent operation of demolition materials recycling activities in Sri Lanka

2003 - Bill Butterworth - Monitoring long term effects of recycling wastes to productive land

2002 - Duncan Martin - Mathematical model to predict rates of anaerobic digestion of wastes in landfill – Georgia, Atlanta

2001 - Philip Rushbrook - Sustainable Waste Management Advances in India and their potential for adoption in the NIS
