The PEEL Peoples Cup recognises excellence in the operating team of a licensed or permitted waste management facility.  The scope of this award was extended in 2007 from landfills, to reflect the changing nature of the industry and now includes waste treatment facilities, commercial scale composting operations, energy from waste facilities and many other facilities.
