Futuresource 2010 exhibitors benefit from public sector procurement boost

Companies exhibiting at Futuresource 2010, the European showcase for the waste and resource management sector, will have the chance to get in front of more senior public sector procurement professionals than ever before, thanks to a new co-location agreement.

The Futuresource trade fair and conference, staged jointly by the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM) and Environmental Services Association (ESA), is now in its second year at ExCeL London and is joined this year by Guardian News & Media’s (GNM) sector-leading Public Procurement Show 2010. The two exhibitions will be located in adjoining halls and registered visitors will be free to move between events.

CIWM managing director Sarah Poulter says she is delighted by the development.
“We are dedicated to providing the best service possible for exhibitors and this new co-location agreement is an example of this. Visitors to the Public Procurement Show are looking to achieve improvements in resource efficiency, collaborative procurement, and value for money – all central themes at Futuresource – and our exhibitors will be able to provide products, services and expertise to help them meet these challenges.”

“Exhibitors will also benefit from a greater awareness of their products and services among public sector professionals through widespread promotion of the two events in GNM’s media outlets, including the Guardian newspaper.”

Geoff Soppet, Head of Exhibitions at Guardian Professional, shares her excitement.
“We are looking forward to working closely with Futuresource in 2010 and we are confident that we have created an unbeatable offering for all our customers. With visitors free to move freely from one event to the other, we will enable procurement decision makers to gain maximum value from their time spent at ExCeL. We’re excited by the prospect of a busy, bustling venue with more contacts and business deals being made than ever before.”
